CJ will be speaking about God’s heart for the nations. A biblical vision for what it looks like to reach the ends of the earth with the Gospel.

CJ will be preaching on the topic: Rest For The Weary Soul

CJ will be speaking at Church of the City on race, ethnicity, and Gospel Unity. What it looks like to learn, lament, and live together in multiethnic community.

CJ will be participating in a panel discussion centered around what it means to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves as black people. 

Jesus said the poor will always be with us. Paul was urged to remember the poor on his missionary journeys.  There is no place you can go where you will not find people in poverty in this world. Our call as Christians is to love them, care for their needs, and share the hope of the Gospel with those who don't know Christ.  We don't just want to meet needs, we want to challenge systems of injustice as well. Here we will learn about poverty, it's causes, systems that keep it going, how we can love the poor, and ultimately Jesus' vision for us.

CJ Will be talking about doing missions in NYC and how you can be a part of that

CJ will be leading a discussion on building missional communities in the urban environment.

CJ will be preaching at Apostles Brooklyn. 

Continuing through the Family of God series, CJ will preach from Romans 12 on what it means for us to "Feel Together" as a family. 

CJ will be giving a talk at IWMC 2018 on what it means to do mission trips in the city well by making the gospel the main focus.
